Theme: Waves & Rivers

  • Be inspired by an audiovisual immersion into crashing waves and flowing rivers to move your body and flex your creativity.

 

Pricing:

  • Early bird (before Oct 10): $280 per person
  • Regular price: $300 per person
  • Equipment & art materials inclusive

  • A $50 cancellation fee applies to cancellations within 12 hours of class.

 

Come to class dressed comfortably for movement:

  • Yoga mats, blocks, straps & knee mats available at the studio
  • No experience necessary. All welcome.
  • Let Victoria know if you have any injuries or conditions she should know of

About Victoria

Victoria Ahn is a certified yoga teacher with a Masters in Expressive Arts Therapy. She believes that when people are equipped to engage with their own wellbeing and creativity, powerful things happen.

Her focus is on making wellbeing accessible, by offering services to people with special needs, youth, migrant workers and low-income communities. This includes not only her role as a yoga teacher, but also as an arts therapist, volunteer swim coach and nonprofit professional.

Victoria was born in Korea, educated in the United States, and she’s now living in Hong Kong with her husband, Jonathan, and their cats.

Immersion (120 mins)

This class features:

  • Audiovisual immersion with natural elements as the main theme

  • Movement and breath in yoga to help us connect to our body, mind and creativity

  • Art prompts for individual work and for group collaboration: collage, watercolour, soft pastel, oil pastel, etc.

No prior experience necessary.

A word from Victoria

Hi friends,

This unique experience is designed to immerse you in an audiovisual environment that harmonises natural themes with sound and imagery from the outdoors.

Each session, we will explore a different natural theme, allowing the sounds of nature and captivating visuals to create a calming backdrop as we engage in yoga. As we move through various poses and connect with our breath, we will not only cultivate physical awareness but also open ourselves to new creative possibilities.

The workshop will include the introduction of some art techniques to spark your imagination, but the primary focus is on self-expression. It is a time for you to explore your creativity freely, using the energy and inspiration gathered from both yoga and nature.

Together, we will create a space where movement and artistic expression intertwine, allowing you to tap into your inner thoughts and feelings in a profound way. I look forward to seeing how our unique experiences will unfold as we embark on this journey together.
